| The Lord, in His mysterious wisdom, has seen fit to grant me the privilege of serving Living Hope Christian Reformed Church of Sarnia since June 1999. It is an exciting time, a time of growth and transition. | |
| This congregation has served the Lord in Sarnia for over 50 years. Recognizing that the world we live in today is vastly different from the world 50 years ago, we are exploring what it means to be Christian and Reformed in Sarnia today. | |
| As the one called to be the pastor at this time, I am thankful to have been blessed with the gifts and opportunities to serve. I am also extremely thankful for the gifts that the Lord has given to His people. The church belongs to Christ and He equips His saints to do the work He calls us to do. Every member of the church has gifts and a role to play in the kingdom. | |
| We are a diverse community who have in mind the will of Christ. We have been blessed with a true sense of urgency to reach out to our neighbours in our community and around the world. We have been challenged with the knowledge that people need the Lord, and we are called to introduce them to Him. | |
| It is my prayer that as we continue our ministry in Sarnia, the Lord will show us the way. May we never hesitate to take up our cross and follow Him, whether that means going next door to our unchurched neighbours or around the world to people who have never heard the gospel. | |
